This workshop is about strategy, integrity, and real-world redesign. We’ll unpack the Strategic Framework—which focuses on strategic redesign and academic integrity—provides a clear, intentional roadmap for integrating AI into your assessments without sacrificing rigor. We’ll apply this framework as we complete these activities:
The "Vulnerability Audit": Participants bring a current essay prompt or project and "run it through" a popular LLM to see exactly how the AI solves it, identifying the "weak points" where a student could bypass the learning.
The Assignment Makeover: Using a provided Redesign Framework, teachers will modify that same assignment by adding "Human-In-The-Loop" requirements (e.g., personal reflections, local context, or hand-drawn mind maps).
The "Red Line" Debate: A collaborative activity to categorise specific student behaviors as "Green Light" (Ethical AI use), "Yellow Light" (Needs Citation), or "Red Light" (Academic Dishonesty).
